Tailored Lilly / Whitney Lowry Bio

In a world of Hollywood celebrities and fashion magazines telling us what is stylish and fashionable, Whitney felt lost in the fashion world.  Feeling conflicted in her desire to be modern and stylish without compromising her standards of modesty in dress, she felt the need to provide a service that was lacking in the fashion world.  Where was the fashion merged with decency and affordability?  She was finding bits and pieces of modest fashion in malls, department stores and online retailers, however, she couldn’t find a place where different types of modest apparel was offered in one outlet. Whitney wanted a place where she could find modern, modest clothing from many designers in one place.  Tailored Lilly (www.tailoredlilly.com) was born from this idea.  Founded in 2007, Tailored Lilly provides a unique modest apparel shopping experience.  By offering a rotating inventory of styles, trends, designers and the like, she provides her online customers with an opportunity to shop as if they were in a boutique, without the high prices.  (As of 12/24/09 the online store is temporarily closed.)
